Riddhi Patel, DMD

Dr. Patel recently moved to the area with her husband who is completing his residency in internal medicine.  Dr. Patel is on staff as part-time faculty at MetroHealth Medical Center.  Prior to her move Dr. Patel was on staff as faculty at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, West Chester Hospital and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. 

Dr. Patel graduated top 10 in her class at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2013.  After dental school, she obtained a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Internship from the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.  She completed her formal training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY.  Dr. Patel is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.  Her clinical interests include maxillofacial trauma, maxillofacial and dental implants, surgical pathology, orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, temporomandibular surgery, and bone and soft tissue reconstructive procedures for maxillary and mandibular regions. She is also trained in reconstruction of the trigeminal nerve.

Dr. Patel is a member of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Ohio Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery.
